Indigo and MuesliSwap LP Farming

With the start of Indigo staking we have received many questions regarding the compatibility of the MuesliSwap Staking programme and Indigo Staking. This article will clarify how the two programmes interact and how to earn rewards in both.

TL;DR:

• LP Tokens staked on Indigo and earning $INDY rewards will be counted by MuesliSwap too and accumulate MYield rewards, starting 20th December 2022.
• Additional MYield rewards will be redeemable through the MuesliSwap website, starting 31st December 2022.
• The first snapshot of staked liquidity on Indigo will happen on 21st December 2022 followed by $INDY rewards distribution a few hours later

Since the 7th December 2022, MuesliSwap has been running a yield farming programme for the iUSD/ADA liquidity pool, rewarding stakers with MYield tokens. It has been very successful and already attracted 500k ADA worth of liquidity. Additionally, Indigo has announced and started a yield farming programme through the Indigo website, which will enable earning $INDY tokens by staking MuesliSwap iUSD/ADA LP tokens on their platform. An important question is, how and whether these two programs will be compatible. We aim at explaining the answer in this article.

Is the yield farm on Indigo different from the MuesliSwap yield farm?

First of all we want to clarify that there will be two separate yield farms for MuesliSwap iUSD/ADA LP tokens: One accessible through MuesliSwap and one accessible through the Indigo website. These are technically running through two different smart contracts. In general, the Indigo website will not track any stake that is placed in MuesliSwap stake pools. But MuesliSwap will track stake placed in Indigo stake pools.

How can I earn double yield rewards MYield and $INDY? How much will I earn?

When going to the Indigo website and staking tokens there, MuesliSwap will track your staked tokens. You will receive the same amount of MYield as you would earn when just staking tokens on the MuesliSwap website.

Your Indigo stake will be displayed on the MuesliSwap website as well and accumulate yield farming rewards. This will start on the 20th December 2022 the latest. Meanwhile we are working hard to release this feature earlier. If you stake on Indigo before the 20th December, your stake might not be taken into account yet for additional MYield rewards instantly, but start accumulating from the 20th onwards.

When staking on Indigo, you will be able to redeem your additional earned MYield rewards starting 30th December the latest. The rewards will be accumulated and displayed on MuesliSwap in the meantime. If you unstake before the 30th December, your additional MYield rewards will expire. If you unstake after the 30th December, you will get all rewards that have accumulated since you started staking on Indigo, even if that was before the 30th.
