Official World Mobile roadmap released
This month, the official World Mobile roadmap was released, detailing our exciting plans for the next year and beyond as we continue to grow the network, onboard EarthNode operators, and expand the sharing economy.

Merch Store launched
The long-awaited World Mobile Merch Store is now live, offering a range of branded apparel and accessories for fans of the unstoppable network.
Micky Watkins at the Future Blockchain Summit
World Mobile CEO Micky Watkins attended the Future Blockchain Summit in Dubai this month, where he delivered a presentation on the utility and value of a blockchain-powered mobile network and sharing economy.
He also explained how World Mobile’s dynamic network aims to use aerostats and a range of other technologies to connect the unconnected and go where other telcos can’t reach.
An update on our rollout
The sixth instalment of our Deployment Diary went live this month, delivering the latest news from our teams on the ground and our strategy going forward.
PMI Tanzania Conference 2022
This month saw the World Mobile team attend the PMI Tanzania Conference 2022 as a conference partner.
The conference focused on major projects that are helping to drive an industrial Tanzanian economy.

This month, Mike Nxele joined the World Mobile team as VP of Regulatory Affairs.
Now based in Harare, Zimbabwe, Mike is a heavyweight in the telecommunications and ICT sectors, with over 30 years’ experience.
