Ethereum drops slightly, LUNA falls hard again, cardano and solana rise

Bitcoin (BTC) ended the week in the red for the seventh time in a row. Most altcoins also start the week in the red, despite their significant gains last night. However, most cryptocurrencies are currently falling below the price of 24 hours ago. Total market cap is down 1% to $1.33 trillion.

Ethereum Drops Back Towards $2,000

Ethereum (ETH) rose to a high of USD 2,150 by midnight, but then began to fall again along with bitcoin. ETH briefly found support around USD 2,075 but plummeted all the way to USD 2,000 this morning. However, that may be a higher low versus Saturday’s $1,950 and Thursday’s $1,800. ETH currently stands at $2,020, but is still 0.5% down today.

AVAX, DOT, SHIB in red

Avalanche (AVAX) held up less strongly this morning, dropping to $32.3, bringing the price down 3.6%. Polkadot (DOT) is also lower this morning. DOT is currently falling to $10.7, down 2.3%. Shiba inu (SHIB) is down 2.2% and comes in at $0.000012.

XRP, DOGE, TRX, BNB drop to the same price

Ripple (XRP) is holding up slightly stronger and is down 1.1% with $0.42 today. Dogecoin (DOGE) is also down 1.1% and currently stands at $0.088. Tron (TRX) falls back to the same price as 24 hours ago: around $0.68. The same goes for binance coin (BNB) with a price of $293.

SOL & ADA in the plus

Solana (SOL), on the other hand, was able to gain steady gains yesterday and is lower this morning. SOL is 3.5% in the plus, but can the price hold at this $53? We see such a pattern with cardano (ADA) which is even 3.8% in the plus today and now comes in at a price of $0.56.

Crypto top 100 hardest fallers

Filecoin (FIL), aave (AAVE), basic attention token (BAT), theta (THETA), tezos (XTZ), axie infinity (AXS) and celo (CELO) are all down about 5% today. Decentraland (MANA), maker (MKR), fantom (FTM), helium (HNT) and dash (DASH) are down about 6%. Gala (GALA) is 8% in the minus and graph (GRT) even 10%.

LUNA & UST take heavy blows again

The biggest loser is again terra (LUNA). Luna saw a brief rebound early in the weekend, but has fallen 34% to $0.0002 in the past 24 hours. That is, incidentally, still 100% down compared to a week ago. TerraUSD (UST), the connected algorithmic stablecoin, is making another big plunge at the time of writing and is more than 50% in the red today. UST dips below $0.1 again.

Crypto top 100 hardest risers

Nevertheless, not the entire top 100 is red today. Pancake swap (CAKE) is up 5%, cosmos (ATOM) 7% and ecash (XEC) 8%. Osmosis (OSMO) and chain (XCN) are both up 10% today. Arweave (AR) is the big winner today and is almost 15% in the green.
