Reese Witherspoon isn’t a stranger to the cryptosphere, but so far her interest has been mainly in NFTs and the metaverse. The other day, though, she solicited advice on cryptocurrencies via Twitter.
“Hey #cryptotwitter, I would love to hear about the most sustainable crypto currencies,” she said using the right hashtag. Adroitly, the Legally Blonde star asked for “sustainable” cryptocurrencies, so as to thwart the usual angry mob that, for whatever reason, don’t perceive Christmas lights as a threat to the ice caps.
Obviously just about every bag holder for every crypto out there shot their shot. Though, most notably, Charles Hoskinson responded to the actress. “Sure. Send me a PM.”
As of press time, there is no indication of any response from Witherspoon or her camp — she hasn’t liked, retweeted, or responded publicly. Hoskinson hasn’t followed up since then either. Obviously, the anti-Cardano trolls came out in full force.
Tweeting at a very famous person is hardly an unusual move from the Cardano founder. Hoskinson in the past has pitched himself to Mark Cuban via the social network.

Witherspoon’s Thoughts On Crypto’s Future
Back in January, Reese Witherspoon was widely mocked for a speculative tweet.
“In the (near) future, every person will have a parallel digital identity,” Witherspoon tweeted. “Avatars, crypto wallets, digital goods will be the norm. Are you planning for this?”
To normies, the tweet came off as bizarre. To the cryptospace, it came off as someone who’s beginning to understand what’s going on in crypto.
