The release of the new ledger language for testing on SanchoNet is a significant step forward for improving the Cardano environment.
People look forward to these improvements because they feel the system can take Cardano in a new direction.
At first, the Plutus V3 upgrade and the Chang Hardfork, set to come out in the first half of 2024, were supposed to work together. Founder Charles Hoskinson has called these changes “historic” for the system.
When Hoskinson talks more about how vital ADA Plutus V3 is, it’s easy to see how it fits into the movement of Decentralized Applications (DApps), especially when working with other blockchain networks.
The release of the ledger language is expected to speed up the use of ADA’s smart contracts, improving government support and the ability for different systems to work together.
👀 Introducing PlutusV3 – a new ledger language now available for testing on #SanchoNet.
With improved smart contract adoption, governance support, and enhanced interoperability, #PlutusV3 unlocks more possibilities for builders.🔓

Enhanced Security and Developer Tools in Cardano Plutus V3
Cardano Plutus V3 has better security features that follow the network’s rules. These include using algorithms sufficiently, making Ethereum portable, and connecting sidechains. Adding Sum of Products (SOPs) makes data coding more efficient, speeding up smart contract processing.
Also, new built-in primitives like BLS12-381, Blake2b-224, and Keccak-256 give devs more power, making integrating sidechains, validating signatures, and creating cross-chain solutions easier.
At first, it was thought that the release of Cardano Plutus V3 would increase demand for ADA, which is Cardano’s coin. Even though ADA has been moving slowly lately, it showed a strong trend on Feb. 25 and saw a price gain of up to 24%.
