Charles Hoskinson, the Cardano founder, took to social media to debunk rumors of his firm abandoning its layer 2 scaling solution, Hydra.

Charles Backs Cardano’s Commitment To The Hydra Project
Charles Hoskinson — the CEO and founder of Cardano blockchain — has dismissed rumors surrounding Cardano’s layer 2 scaling solution, Hydra. According to Charles, the rumors claiming that Cardano abandoned the Hydra Project after going live on the mainnet in May 2023 are just FUD- Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

The Cardano founder’s recent post was met with several reactions, including inquiries about Cardano’s partnership with the Fortune 250 company DISH, projects in Ethiopia, Africa, and more.

In response, Charles Hoskinson clarified that the ERC20 converter resulted in a singularity net on Cardano, a billion-dollar asset. Charles added that John O’Connor — the CEO of RealFi — is helping Cardano with its development across Africa, and they have successfully trained developers for the Mongolia partnership.
Cardano’s Hydra Project has always been subject to criticism, and Charles Hoskinson never fails to clarify the rumors. In October 2023, Hydra was rumored to not be capable of completing transactions at a reasonable speed.
