Launched last month, SundaeSwap V3 boasts a significantly improved architecture compared to its previous iterations. The new DEX utilizes a more efficient pricing model within its smart contracts, enabling smoother and faster transactions. Additionally, SundaeSwap V3 demonstrates a substantial leap in transaction processing capability, reaching 35 transactions per second.

Historically, Cardano has faced challenges with network congestion. However, SundaeSwap V3’s enhanced scalability could improve transaction throughput significantly on the Cardano network. Following closely is JustStables, another protocol operating on a single chain, with a TVL of $1.644 billion. Rounding out the top three is Liquity, a decentralized borrowing protocol, which has managed to lock in assets worth $648.34 million.

The Cardano network, known for its advanced proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, has seen a surge in DeFi adoption.
Leading the pack is Minswap, a decentralized exchange with a total value locked (TVL) of $47.62 million.
Indigo, after temporarily claiming the top position before settling, comes in second with a TVL of $46.94 million.
Following closely are Liqwid and Optim Finance, lending platforms with $21.21 million and $13.16 million TVL, respectively. It is also worth noting the explosive growth of Astarter, which saw over 1,000% growth in the past month.

When it comes to the broader DeFi landscape, Ethereum still reigns supreme with an astounding $22.228 billion TVL and 942 active protocols.
Tron and BSC follow, with $7.793 billion and $3.199 billion TVL, respectively. Despite Ethereum’s dominance, other chains like Cardano are steadily carving out their niche.

ADEX V2.0: Empowering the Cardano Ecosystem

Astarter DEX(ADEX) recently wrapped up its Closed Beta Month, which began on April 11, 2023, and ran through to April 30. There are three priority rounds, each having exclusive access through a wallet address whitelisting mechanism. ADEX Swap screen has a light 3D representation of the Astarter logo set as background. The background image highlights the light themed UI and we’re considering adding a dark themed night mode toggle that incorporates the dark version of the Astarter logo.Supporting multiple wallet integrations allows beta testers to use the wallet they are familiar with and apart from some intermittent connection errors, everyone appears to be making basic swaps, creating pools depositing and withdrawing liquidity. Of the issues identified further testing is required to rule out those related to the Cardano protocol requirement to maintain sufficient ADA balance as collateral for successful smart contract execution.Overall, the four rounds of DEX testing were successful in demonstrating the performance, efficiency, and functionality of the Astarter DEX. The Astarter development team will continue to refine and optimize the DEX, based on the feedback and suggestions received from the testing participants and the Cardano community.
