Neon Racers are Cardano blockchain NFTs originally created by the Neon Racerz team. 3,022 of 3,333 NFTs were sold before they halted minting. A few weeks post mint, there was a lot of
misinformation and broken promises from the original team. It was at that time, we decided to form Xrace – to bring utility to Neon Racer NFTs.

Xrace was not involved in the original mint, and we have received no funding from the original team.

We started as a community project in the hope that our platform would work alongside the original team’s promised game. For us, Xrace was a way to prove our credentials and it was intended as the first stage of a much more elaborate racing platform.

In December of 2021, the original team made the announcement on their social media that they were pulling out of all future development. Now that we are fully in control of the project, we can
make Xrace a more complete play-to-earn racing game. It will form an integral part of the Xrace Universe of Cardano NFT racing.

								<a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/okx-to-cease-crypto-services-in-nigeria-by-august/">Crypto exchange OKX</a> has revealed plans to delist trading pairs for several crypto tokens, including <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/shiba-inu-cardano-and-litecoin/">Cardano (ADA), Shiba Inu (SHIB)</a>, and XRP. This follows a performance check by the crypto exchange, which shows that these trading pairs aren’t meeting up to expectations. 
<h2>OKX To Delist These Trading Pairs</h2>
OKX announced in a <a href="https://www.okx.com/help/okx-to-delist-several-spot-trading-pairs-25-7" target="_blank">blog post</a> that it will delist spot trading pairs for ADA-ETH, XRP-ETH, SHIB-BTC, ADA-BTC, and XRP-BTC, among others. Other crypto tokens like Litecoin (LTC), Polygon (MATIC), <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/chainlink-264-million-link-tokens/">Chainlink (LINK)</a>, <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/dogecoin-open-interest-rise-with-34-day-price-peak/">Dogecoin (DOGE)</a>, and Polkadot (DOT) were also caught in the mix, with OKX also revealing plans to delist some spot trading pairs related to these tokens. 
The crypto explained that this move formed part of their regular monitoring and review of all listed trading pairs to “maintain a robust spot trading environment.” OKX said they decided to delist these trading pairs as they do not fulfill their listing criteria. However, the <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/okx-approved-a-win-for-singapores-crypto-ambitions/">crypto exchange</a> failed to mention the exact circumstance or factor that warranted this action. 
Meanwhile, OKX outlined the date and time when these spot trading pairs will be delisted. The <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/cardano-founder-ethereum/">ADA-ETH</a> spot trading pair will be delisted on July 25 between 8 and 8:30 a.m. UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). The XRP-ETH and SHIB-BTC spot trading pairs will be delisted on July 26 between 8 and 8:30 a.m. UTC. 
Meanwhile, the ADA-BTC and XRP-BTC spot trading pairs will be delisted on August 1 and 2, respectively, between 8 and 8:30 a.m. UTC. <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/okx-to-cease-crypto-services-in-nigeria-by-august/">OKX advised customers</a> to cancel orders relating to these pairs before the delisting date. The system will automatically cancel these orders for those who fail to do this, although the exchange noted that cancellation may take 1 to 3 working days. 
<h2>OKX Launches Telegram-based Game</h2>
OKX has been busy lately as the crypto exchange looks to forge ahead in the industry and gain a <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/bybit-surpass-coinbase-by-trading-volume/">larger market share</a>. With the launch of ‘OKX Racer,’ OKX <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2024/07/22/2916264/0/en/OKX-Launches-OKX-Racer-a-Telegram-Mini-App-Game-that-Challenges-Users-to-Guess-Bitcoin-Price-Movements.html" target="_blank">recently became</a> the first major exchange to release a <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/hamster-kombat-crypto-users/">Telegram mini-app game</a>. According to the announcement, the game is centered on Bitcoin’s price movement as gamers will be challenged to correctly guess the flagship crypto’s price action within five-second intervals.
Jason Lau, Chief Innovation Officer at OKX, highlighted the growing popularity of <a target="_blank" href="https://bitcoinist.com/toncoins-hamster-kombat-hits-new-milestone-is-this-the-next-big-thing-in-crypto/">Telegram’s mini-app platform</a> and how it is becoming a “can’t-miss venue” for those looking to engage the crypto community. He stated that his firm wants to embrace this user-friendly approach to “cultivate communities, incentivize participation, and encourage fun.” 
These Telegram mini-apps have become popular due to potential token airdrops, which these platforms could distribute later on to gamers, similar to <a href="https://www.newsbtc.com/news/toncoin-on-fire-crypto-explodes-to-all-time-high-can-it-hit-10/" target="_blank">Notcoin’s NOT airdrop campaign</a>. However, Lau didn’t state if the crypto exchange also plans to incentivize gamers through this airdrop model.
