We are happy to announce that the Genius X Launchpad Testnet will launch on November 1st, 2022 at 1PM UTC with the KYC process! Users can register their wallets NOW starts in the Genius X Discord!

Genius X will soon release the launchpad to offer fundraising support for vetted projects under the Accelerator Program. The Genius X Launchpad will be the most advanced, KYC compliant smart contract based token distribution protocol in the Cardano ecosystem. The launchpad is non-custodial, as your funds are locked in a smart contract until the sale is executed. This will make the Genius X Launchpad the most secure on the Cardano blockchain. The launchpad will be a critical component of the Genius X accelerator ecosystem.

Who Can Participate?

The Genius X Launchpad Testnet will be accessible to anyone who wishes to participate, including those who did not participate in the Genius Yield ISPO and US residents. It is critical to note that the testnet will be conducted prior to the Genius Yield Public Sale. To reward users for helping us test the launchpad, we have designed a simple incentive program. We will distribute 100,000 $GENSX tokens to testers!

Those who wish to help with the testnet must register their wallets on Discord and complete the KYC process. In order to be whitelisted for round 1, testers must register their wallets before Oct 28th 10pm UTC. Those who register before Oct 28th 10pm UTC will be assigned the “tester WL” role on Discord. Don’t worry, if you miss this window, you can register after this date and purchase in the public round 2. Users will be asked to give both the wallet addresses for the testnet wallet and the mainnet wallet they want to use for the testnet rewards. Wallets supported for the testnet will be Nami and Eternl. Details on how to claim your testnet rewards will be provided at a later date. If you’re unsure how to create a wallet for the testnet, a guide will be provided in the Discord channel “read first.”

Users who wish to participate in this testnet can visit official channels on Discord for more information. Registered users will be free to provide feedback in the “Support-Ticket” channel, under a category that best aligns with the nature of their report. During this time, testnet participants will have efficient communication channels with the development team.

The Genius X Launchpad Testnet program will start on October 24th. The first step is registering your testnet wallets on Discord. This will be followed by the KYC stage. The KYC process will start on Nov. 1st 1PM UTC and end on Nov. 3rd 1pm UTC. After the KYC period, round 1, the whitelist round, will start on Nov. 3rd 1PM UTC and last until Nov. 5th 1PM UTC. Only those who have been given the “tester wl” tag on Discord will be able to participate in round one. After that, we will have a “public” round 2 which will be open to all testers, even those who purchased in round 1. Round 2 starts Nov. 5th 1PM UTC and concludes Nov. 7th 1PM UTC. The testnet will conclude with the distribution of the tGENS, starting Nov. 7th 1PM UTC and ending Nov. 9th 1PM UTC. You will be able to perform KYC at any time during round 1 and round 2- it doesn’t have to be during the KYC stage.

KYC Process Starts: November 1st, 1PM UTC and ends November 3rd, 1PM UTC. Please note you must complete the KYC process to participate in the testnet.

Round 1: Nov. 3rd 1PM UTC to Nov. 5th 1PM UTC

Round 2: Nov. 5th 1PM UTC to Nov. 7th 1PM UTC

Distribution Starts: Nov. 7th 1PM UTC to Nov. 9th UTC

Participants are strongly urged to first check the “FAQ” and “known-bugs-and-errors” channels on Discord before submitting a bug/error ticket. To begin, testers navigate to the “Submit-ticket” channel on Discord and pick a category that best describes the issue they want to report. They will also be required to provide their stake key along with a clear description of the bug/error before submitting tickets.

100,000 $GENSX to be Distributed to Testers

To reward users for helping us test the launchpad, we have designed a simple incentive program. We will distribute 100,000 $GENSX tokens to testers!

50,000 $GENSX or 50% of the incentive pool, will be distributed to those who completed the KYC process. The exact amount each tester will receive depends on the amount of total testers.
