เมื่อวันที่ 26 กุมภาพันธ์ TapTools เครื่องมือวิเคราะห์ของ Cardano พบว่า DJED เหรียญ Stablecoin ตัวแรกของ Cardano ที่เปิดตัวไปเมื่อช่วงปลายเดือนมกราคมที่ผ่านมา มีผู้ถืออยู่เพียง 882 คนเท่านั้น
จากข้อมูลนี้ทำให้ ชาว Twitter แห่แสดงความคิดเห็นกันเป็นจำนวนมาก และยังได้พยายามหาเหตุผลเบื้องหลังตัวเลขนี้ หรือแสดงสงสัยเกี่ยวกับข้อในรายงานของ Taptools
หนึ่งในผู้ที่เข้ามาแสดงความคิดเห็น ได้แก่บัญชี Twitter ชื่อ Lone Wolf ที่เข้ามาวิจารณ์ว่า “DJED ล้มเหลวในแง่ของการผลักดันการยอมรับ” เนื่องจากการจำกัดการทำธุรกรรมขั้นต่ำไว้ที่ 5,000 DJED ซึ่งถือเป็นจำนวนที่มากเกินไป

นอกจากความเห็นของชาวชุมชน Crypto บน Twitter แล้ว COTI ผู้ออกเหรียญ DJED ยังได้ออกมาแสดงความคิดเห็นต่อประเด็นนี้เช่นกัน โดยกล่าวว่า DJED “พึ่งอยู่ในช่วงเริ่มต้น” เท่านั้น และกล่าวว่า “พวกเราพึ่งพอใจกับความสำเร็จนี้เอามาก ๆ”
นอกจากนี้ COTI ยังกล่าวด้วยว่า ตัวเลขที่ TapTools นำมา ไม่ชัดเจนว่ามีการรวมตัวเลขผู้ถือ DJED บนกระดานเทรดรวมศูนย์หรือไม่ “ดังนั้น ตัวเลขจริง ๆ อาจสูงกว่านี้”
