Snoop Dogg Will Talk About Cardano With Charles Hoskinson

Snoop Dogg will talk about Cardano’s ecosystem with the founder Charles Hoskinson in a few days as we can see more today in our latest Cardano news.

With the new quarter rolling out at full speed, Charles Hoskinson who is the founder of Cardano and Snoop Dogg will talk about the ecosystem in a few days. Hoskinson will be meeting Snoop Dogg to talk about the Cardano Ecosystem on April 5^th and both parties already confirmed it happening. Hoskinson said in a tweet:

“Yes, I’ll be with Snoop on the 5th. I have the best job in the world.”

Snoop Dogg on the other hand said that he expects it to be fun. The rapper and one of the most popular people int eh planet is a vocal proponent of non-fungible tokens. Snoop is even a well-known supporter of the Bored ape Yacht Club and launched NFT music.

Also, Coinbase added Cardano staking rewards to its platform and has been on a listing spree over the past year, adding, ApeCoin and Wrapped Centrifuge as well. It is also buffing up the staking options while announcing that it now offers to stake for ADA which is the native crypto of the Cardano blockchain.

In explaining the decision, the senior product manager Rupmalini Sahu pointed to the ADA top-10 market capitalization and its scalable and sustainable blockchain design. The design uses smart contracts much like Ethereum, Solana to enable DeFi, NFT, and other activities on the network. Cardano is a proof of stake cryptocurrency which means that the network is secured by people that commit a portion of their ADA holdings to the network and in return, they receive a share of the newly minted ADA.

Cardano’s network is attracting quite the interest at least according to the IOHK Director of Marketing and Communications. Back in September 2021, Cardano went through one of the most important mainnet upgrades dubbed Alonzo which was a part of the development cycle of the platform known as the Goguen era, and possibly the most important part was the integration of smart contracts.

Since then, the network went through other upgrades and saw important development as well. One of them was the first scaling solution based on ZK rollups dubbed Orbis. This also led to a multitude of projects building on Cardano according to IOHK’s Marketing and Communications Director, Tim Harrison.
