One of the leading cryptocurrency-fiat on/off ramps providers, Simplex, has integrated Cardano, adding the digital asset to its vast array of supported cryptocurrencies. Users will now be able to purchase ADA easily via bank transfers, Apple Pay and credit cards.
Fiat on-off ramps have become critical to the success of any digital asset. At a time when cryptocurrencies are becoming more popular than ever, it becomes crucial for users, especially novices, to buy their favorite crypto seamlessly and efficiently.
As per a press release shared with CNF, Simplex integrated Cardano due to its fast growth and increasing adoption. As we’ve reported previously, Cardano is establishing itself as one of the most serious Ethereum challengers. It has yet to introduce smart contracts – although they are coming soon – but the Charles Hoskinson-led project is already the leader in GitHub commits in the crypto industry. It has also ventured into diverse areas including education and public governance, decentralized finance and e-commerce.

Cardano gains more ground
Cardano is the latest crypto that Simplex now offers. Others include Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Aave, Ethereum, Dash, Polkadot, Litecoin, Stellar, Tether and EOS. The platform also offers 50 fiat currencies including the Argentine peso, the Australian dollar, the euro, the British pound, the U.S dollar, the Nigerian naira and many more.
For Cardano users, this integration will only spur them on as they seek to spread Cardano and ADA to the world. The crypto project has become one of the most active, whether it’s on the price charts where ADA currently sits sixth, or in blockchain adoption where it recently partnered with leading companies and world governments.
As CNF reported, IOHK recently revealed that it had partnered with the Ethiopian government to store academic records. The project is the largest blockchain-based education system in the world.
