Cardano (ADA) can be accepted for payment at over 7 million businesses, thanks to ADA pay’s new plug-in. COTI, a blockchain fintech platform, shared the new update in one of their recent tweets.
The new plug-in was developed as a part of a new Catalyst project by COTI. The ADA Pay plugin was developed on Odoo (On-Demand Open Object) and is focusing on midsize merchants and businesses. Odoo consists of enterprises ranging from small-scale startups to even large ones.
The ADA Pay gateway came to the limelight with the aim of bringing Cardano (ADA) to the masses. With the use of the plugin, merchants can accept ADA payments with instant settlement. COTI had previously shared about another ADA play plugin that was designed to accept ADA payments for 8 different platforms, including WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.
This initiative will let users pay in ADA and will help in the widespread adoption. Medium-scale businesses accepting ADA will mark a great milestone for ADA in its wider global adoption.
Cardano invites whale attention
According to WhaleStats, the BSC whales seem to be interested in ADA. Cardano regained its position in the top ten purchased tokens among the 4,000 biggest BSC whales in the last 24 hours.
ADA also holds the 6th position in the top 10 purchased tokens list among the top 100 BSC whales. It also falls under the category of the top 10 small-cap holdings among the top 100 BSC whales.
The rising interest can be reasoned as the team is cooking up several developments. With the release of the Vasil hardfork nearing, Cardano is grabbing attention.
