Netflix and Spotify For a Lifetime: Revuto Is Bringing Your Favorite Subscriptions as NFTs

  • Revuto, a Croatian startup, is revolutionizing the worlds subscription industry by combining fintech and crypto business models
  • Revuto already has a popular app that allows users to manage every subscription-related issue in one place
  • Revuto is introducing a new, unique Revulution NFTs that will grant users lifelong subscriptions to Netflix and Spotify
  • In addition to allowing anyone to subscribe for any service in the world for any period of time, Revulution NFTs will open a secondary subscription market where users can send or sell unused subscriptions in the form of NFTs

Revuto, the Croatian startup working hard to revolutionize the subscription economy, has made an interesting announcement. Last year, the company found success and became popular for leveraging crypto and DeFi services to help users manage their subscriptions better.

Now, a few weeks after announcing a marketplace for NFTs in partnership with Cardahub, Revotu has announced that it will sell a limited number of Revulution NFTs that will grant users lifelong subscription/access to top streaming services Netflix and Spotify.

Revuto – An Ambitious and Innovative Startup

Revuto was launched with the primary goal of changing the subscription industry. The Croatian startup raised $10 million in 2021 and set out on a mission to enable users to have ultimate control over their subscriptions.

Revuto started out by developing an all-inclusive app that allows users to manage all their subscriptions in one place. They can pay for subscriptions normally, pay for a subscription with crypto, pause subscriptions, borrow funds to pay for a subscription, secure protection against free trials, and even unsubscribe from any service with ease. The app truly delivers real value.

Revuto is not resting on its laurels. After getting about 3 million early sign-ups for its app, the company has made several moves to boost its ecosystem. One of the recent and most exciting moves is the introduction of unique NFTs that serve as subscriptions. Revulution NFTs, as they are called, have what it takes to change the subscription industry, especially in favour of consumers (Revuto current and potential users).

Revulution NFTs – What They Offer

It is best to start this section by stating that Revuto had introduced different types of NFTs in the past. While some were to reward investors for referrals, others were utility-focused NFTs to boost staking.  Another group of NFTs were to support pre-ICO Cardano projects. Revulution NFTs are the latest group of NFTs, and their functions are mind-blowing.

Revulution NFTs were introduced to enable users to subscribe to any service in the world for any period of time and also monetize unused subscriptions. The implication is that users can subscribe for services for up to one year by buying an NFT. They will also be able to send or sell unused subscriptions.

Speaking about the new NFTs, Revuto CEO and cofounder, Vedran Vukman, said:

“Based on the feedback we received from 350,000 active and verified users, we have decided to give the community exactly what they have asked for – a solution that guarantees a stable subscription fee, that they can share with their friends and family members in a simple and straightforward way. Moreover, in case they are not using the service, the users can simply get their money back or even profit from selling the NFTs. We wish to enable everyone efficiently manage their subscriptions and, eventually, to make the digital subscription market fairer and more equitable.”

Based on what they offer, Revulution NFTs could be the most important piece of the Revuto ecosystem. It is possible that the innovative team can come up with something better, but the intrinsic value of Revulution NFTs is amazing.

Limited Revulution NFTs to Offer Lifelong Netflix and Spotify Subscription

In what could be called the biggest news for the subscription industry, Revuto announced that it will start selling a limited edition of Revulution NFTs that offer lifelong digital subscriptions to Netflix and Spotify services. The sale will officially begin on July 11, 2022, at 12 pm CET on Revuto’s website.

How They Will Work

A total of 10,000 interested users will be able to buy the limited Revolution NFTs for Netflix and Spotify subscriptions. After the purchase, Revuto, in collaboration with Railsr, will provide the buyer with a digital debit card that they can use to pay for Netflix and Spotify subscriptions. Railsr, formerly called Railsband, is a first-rate banking institution that provides its services to several projects, including Crypto.com.

The digital debit card given to users will be exclusively used by them to pay for Netflix and Spotify subscriptions. As hinted earlier, Revulution NFTs will open a new, secondary digital subscription market as users can choose to sell their NFTs at crypto exchanges. Whenever a user sells their NFT, Revuto will deactivate their digital (virtual) debit card and create a new digital debit card for the new owner.

Speaking on the recent developments and what the future holds Revuto cofounder, Josipa Majic, said:

“Our Revulution NFT for Netflix or Spotify is just the start, and also an introduction to the subscription NFTs that people will be able to use to pay for any subscription in the world, for however long they want. Also, by using this particular innovation, the users will get discounts when selecting their subscriptions, coupled with the possibility of either gifting or selling them to other users. With such a unique approach, Revuto is introducing something completely new to the world of subscriptions, something that will enable the creation of an entirely new market of prepaid unused subscriptions. I am immensely proud of the team behind this project, and we are all looking forward to everything that is coming in the future. We are confident the market and existing user base will once again react positively to what we have done.”

Revuto also plans to offer a physical debit card in the future. The virtual debit cards that will be offered to the early 10,000 Revulution NFT buyers will get early access to Revuto physical debit cards when they become available.

Final Words

As mentioned earlier, the limited edition of the unique Revulution NFTs will become available on Revuto’s website on July 11. Current information shows that they will be sold at just $349. Users will be able to pay for them with crypto, as well as with credit or debit cards.
