Today marks the start of Lovada’s first partnership with a Cardano stake pool. As part of our mission to support climate saving causes, we have partnered with GREEN stakepool, Cardano’s most environmentally conscious stake pool, having donated thousands of dollars worth of ADA to NGOs and charities to support our planet.

One of Lovada’s primary goals is to be the world’s most sustainable NFT platform, which is why our platform runs entirely off renewable energy, built on Cardano blockchain — a provably less resource-dependent blockchain, and uses more sustainable NFT algorithms such as“Mint-on-Sale” to minimise on-chain activity. Today we take the first step of our initiatives programme, whereby we will be delegating our ADA solely to stake pools who share our planet-loving ethos, starting with GREEN.

Which charities get the donations?

As of late, GREEN stake pool has donated 10% of all profits to Sea Shepherd France, an international organisation with a mission to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species. They use innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.

Moving forward, GREEN and Lovada will work together with our communities to find even more true and trusted charitable causes to support, to ensure our delegators, artists, and collectors will never lose faith in our communal mission.
