He subsequently went on to be a co-founder of BitShares and Ethereum before co-founding Cardano in 2015. Cardano is named after Gerolamo Cardano, an influential mathematician in the Renaissance. The platform aims to solve three issues with traditional cryptocurrencies: Sustainability, Scalability &amp; Interoperability. This book is mainly for Cardano newcomers. It does not go deep into the weeds of the technical research papers, nor explore concepts in great detail.
