- Input-Output Global rolls out its new version of Daedalus Flight software, specially created for “experienced $ADA holders” who are interested in testing out Daedalus wallet features before the public release.
- Additionally, the new version is created to enable the Cardano node runtime system (RTS). On systems with less than 16 GB of RAM, the Cardano performance utilizes less than 16 GB of RAM.
- Daedalus Flight software can only be downloaded from the official site of the software. 16 GB of RAM, 64-bit dual-core processors, and 25 GB of free drive space are the recommended hardware requirements for the software.
Input-Output Global, the software development team that backs the Cardano (ADA) blockchain, launches the latest version of Daedalus Flight software for the professional ADA community activists with experience.
According to the official website of Daedalus Flight software, “Specially created for ADA holders who want to help us test new Daedalus wallet features.”
Delivers Notable Performance Optimization
The Input-Output Global team shared the news of the release of its node software, Daedalus Flight 4.8.0, through their official social media handles and main blog.
Daedalus Flight software is the latest ‘pre-release’ version of the Daedalus wallet. The transactions done using Daedalus Flight will be considered real ADA transactions.
The latest version fully supports Cardano node v1.33.0. The design of the new release is full re-synchronization and delivers notable performance optimization.
In addition, the new version is built to facilitate the Cardano node runtime system (RTS). The Cardano’s performance uses less memory on systems with less than 16 GB of RAM.
64-bit dual-core processors, 16 GB of RAM, 25 GB of free drive space, and Broadband Internet connection, are the recommended hardware requirements.
Daedalus Flight is also a program that lets seasoned Cardano (ADA) fanatics try out the protocol’s new functions before their public launch.
“We are inviting the community to join in our rolling release process by testing new features, finding bugs, submitting feature requests, and sharing feedback.”
New Version Only Available On PC
The official website of the new release is the only way to download Daedalus Flight software. Their full-node software can be run only on Windows, Linux, and macOS-based PCs.
As mentioned on the official site of the software, “Daedalus is available only as a PC (Microsoft Windows/Linux) and Apple Mac application, there is no mobile (Android/iOS) version of Daedalus.”
The software has no mobile version for iOS and Android. Therefore, any announcements regarding running a Cardano(ADA) node on mobile are completely fraudulent.
