Innovation in Motion
While some may be enjoying time off in summer, our development team has had their noses to the grindstone as they push forward on completing further aspects of Paribus.

While some may be enjoying time off in summer, our development team has had their noses to the grindstone as they push forward on completing further aspects of Paribus. Work is almost finished on the backend elements of governance and the rewards distribution API. Together these mark the end of a significant development section and will free the team up to progress in other aspects, such as the valuation service.
Product Design
The main areas of completed work for the design team are adjustments to the configurator based on feedback from our internal testing, the governance admin panel development, and adding some new illustrations.
Frontend Development
One of the tasks completed on the frontend is creating an interface for handling withdrawals from staking. To improve the user experience, a new tab has been added to the stake management user interface so that people can easily withdraw “expired” stakes.
Further developments include successfully upgrading to Walletconnect v2 and preparing to show users how the NFT module will work. We organized an internal demo with an eye towards publicly releasing it.
Other notable improvements to the user interface include the development of a modal for creating proposal descriptions. This feature, part of the proposal creation process, offers a markdown WYSIWYG editor and a preview of the description to help make the process more intuitive.
Adding to the capabilities, a dynamic form was prepared for adding actions during the proposal creation process. This requires at least one action per proposal and can support up to N actions, where N is a value configured within the protocol.
Additionally, the creation page for proposals has been updated. This improvement considers the need to support a method for setting the actions to be executed should the proposal pass and also integrates the proposal description.
The proposal voting user interface has been completed, and the proposals list page has been integrated with real-world data from smart contracts or internal services. It can serve as a list of proposals, sorted by most recent, a breakdown of proposals by status, and the voting power required by an account before it can submit a proposal.
The voting power leaderboard widget was also improved to display real-world data from smart contracts or internal services. It can display a list of accounts with voting power and sort by the number of votes held by that account.
Likewise, the recent proposals widget can display real-world data from smart contracts or internal services. It can list the proposals, sorted by most recent, showing proposal ID,
proposal title, creator address, creation date, voting end date, and the proposal status.
The governance overview widget can also display real-world data from smart contracts or internal services. It displays the total count of proposals along with the total count of addresses with voting power.
Finally, the staking/voting power widget also displays real-world data from smart contracts or internal services. It can fetch data on an account’s stake amount, duration, and voting power.
Backend Development
The team created a novel API on the backend specifically designed for governance-related tasks. This will pave the way for more streamlined interactions in the future.
Additionally, we updated the sudoswap integration, aiming to optimize performance, improve security measures, and provide a more efficient system.
