The future is interoperable

Bitcoin successfully achieved interoperability through blockchain technology. Bitcoin was able to create a mechanism for anyone around the world to transfer value in a secure, permissionless way without the need for a centralized intermediary. Next, many blockchains, such as Cardano, are working to take things a step further. What if you could lend out your NFTs for short-term funding on Fluid Tokens? What if you could trade Web3 tokens on a decentralized exchange like the Genius Yield DEX?

Cardano envisions a future world where the global financial system, Web3 businesses, decentralized identities, and much more can all run securely on its blockchain. Genius X also believes in this vision, which lead to the creation of our Accelerator Program. The Genius X Accelerator Program provides customized advisory and tools to help Web3 startups achieve success. So far around 20 projects have joined our program as Genius X continues its mission to accelerate projects that bring real utility for users.

Genius X’s future will be interoperable

Genius X has two core products: the Genius X Accelerator and the Genius X Launchpad. The Genius X Accelerator empowers early-stage Web3 startups to build impactful products by providing expert consulting on areas such as product development, marketing, and token design. The Genius X Launchpad is Cardano’s first token sale launchpad to have its operations completely run by smart contracts. The launchpad is unique in that it is completely non-custodial, and any oversubscribed funds on public token sales are automatically refunded to buyers.

The Genius X Launchpad has been built to capitalize on the features of Cardano’s EUTxO architecture and will remain a token launchpad for the 1,200+ projects building on Cardano. However, the Genius X Accelerator will become blockchain agnostic. The Cardano community represents one of the fastest growing, most vibrant communities. The Genius X Accelerator will continue to build on its success with the Cardano community. However, the future of crypto won’t be limited by blockchains and we believe our services will benefit a broader community by the Genius X Accelerator Program expanding to include projects being built on other blockchains.

In the crypto ecosystem, great projects are not limited to one blockchain. There are incredible projects building on Layer One blockchains as well as on Layer Two scaling solutions. Most blockchains are moving towards interoperability, where tokens can be bridged to different blockchains and applications built on one blockchain can run as sidechains on a different blockchain. For accelerator programs, expanding to other blockchains is a natural part of growth as many other similar companies are multi-chain.

In addition, the Cardano ecosystem is also moving towards interoperability rapidly as an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) sidechain proof of concept public testnet was recently released. This EVM sidechain has the goal of bringing EVM-based projects to Cardano, allowing token transfers and Ethereum-based dApps to run on the Cardano blockchain.

What does this mean for $GENSX holders?

Nothing has changed! In fact, $GENSX holders who stake their token will now have access to more Web3 assets. Genius X will be evaluating technology such as bridges or other ways to deliver on the core utilities of the $GENSX staking program. We believe Genius X’s blockchain agnostic approach will benefit $GENSX holders and Cardano by bringing liquidity and even more projects to the Cardano ecosystem.
