XRP or Cardano? We asked AI which crypto is a better buy for 2025

The XRP Ledger (XRP) and Cardano (ADA) surged this week as money started flowing to United States-related altcoins. Finbold asked for two artificial intelligence (AI) models to weigh in on whether XRP or ADA make a better buy for 2025, with the upcoming “biggest crypto bull run ever,” according to an analyst.

Notably, XRP has recently crossed the $1 mark, while ADA nears it at $0.725. The two cryptocurrencies are up 83.59% and 23.73% in the last seven days, respectively, showing strong momentum. As Finbold reported, analysts believe XRP could reach $8, and ADA is heading to $6, a potential mutual eight-fold return.

With that in mind, we turned to Perplexity Online and xAI’s Grok for insights on the better buy for 2025. These AIs stand out among their competitors – like OpenAI’s ChatGPT – by being able to scan the internet for real-time analyses. Therefore, they can provide up-to-date and relevant outputs within the current context.

Perplexity Online AI on Cardano’s ADA vs. Ripple’s XRP for 2025

Perplexity AI, one of OpenAI’s most feared competitors, sees a similar opportunity for Cardano’s ADA and Ripple’s XRP in 2025. Yet, it slightly favors XRP, suggesting the returns could be higher for the token with a $60.50 billion capitalization. Cardano currently has a $25.30 billion market cap.

Elon Musk’s xAI’s Grok weighs in on ‘XRP or ADA’ as a better buy for 2025

Grok, however, believes that while XRP offers the best short-term buying opportunity, ADA is seen as a better long-term option. According to the AI model developed by Elon Musk’s xAI, Cardano has the potential for more stable growth. Meanwhile, XRP benefits the most from sentiment and the regulatory framework.

In summary, both Ripple’s XRP and Cardano’s ADA could bring positive returns to 2024 investors going into 2025’s bull market. Perplexity slightly favors XRP over ADA, while Grok picks the former for short-term returns and the latter for long-term growth.

Still, both AIs acknowledge the risks of investing in these two cryptocurrencies and how unpredictable the market can be. Traders and investors must be aware of these risks and uncertainties to properly hedge their positions while making financial decisions.
