Cardano Names Giorgio Zinetti as CTO to Boost Innovation

The Cardano Foundation has announced the appointment of Giorgio Zinetti as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This action is intended to improve Cardano’s product development and position in the blockchain space. 

Mr. Zinetti has had a successful career at Procivis AG as a co-founder and CTO and at UBS, a global investment bank.

In his new role, Zinetti will work to grow Cardano’s project pipeline and innovate open-source technology for enterprise blockchain solutions. His broad experience in blockchain applications in many sectors, such as government and finance, leaves him well-equipped for the technical challenges that lie ahead.

Despite the favourable information about Zinetti’s appointment, ADA, Cardano’s native cryptocurrency, has decreased in price. This fall is another proof of the cryptocurrency market’s volatility, while the firm has started some strategic actions to improve its technological possibilities.
