Cardano Creator Discusses ADA's Special Mention by Donald Trump

According to a recent Cointelegraph report, Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, was unaware that President Donald Trump would include Cardano’s ADA in the proposed U.S. Crypto Strategic Reserve until the official announcement.

The initiative, which was unveiled on March 2, aims to establish a national reserve of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies such as XRP, Solana, Cardano, Bitcoin, and Ethereum.

Hoskinson revealed that he found out about ADA’s inclusion at the same time as the public, adding that neither he nor any representatives from Cardano were consulted in advance. He emphasized that the lack of prior communication was surprising, considering the significance of the announcement.

Lack of White House Engagement with Cardano

In addition to being left out of discussions about the crypto reserve, Hoskinson noted that neither he nor anyone from Cardano had been invited to the upcoming White House Crypto Summit.

The event will bring together key figures from the cryptocurrency industry and government officials to discuss regulatory and policy matters. However, as of his latest statement, Cardano has not been invited.
