Do Your Own Research Contest — Butane

Friday December 1 11:00 EST to Friday December 22 11:00 EST

Butane, the upcoming synthetics derivatives protocol on Cardano, wishes to promote awareness and a deeper understanding of their project.

As such they’re sponsoring a research contest which is to be independently conducted via SCATDAO.

Participants are invited to submit comprehensive, accurate, and engaging research reports about Butane. The goal is to provide insights and information that might be overlooked normally. Winning reports will earn BTN and AUDIT tokens.

Eligibility and Submission:

Research must be on the Butane Protocol.

Download a copy by clicking >file>download. Select an option for each questions and provide an answer in each answer box (example)

Submit your reports either directly as an excel file or upload it to google drive and share the link to our discord in the dyor-contest channel https://discord.gg/svfjje9GDx
Submit entries from December 1to December 15, 11:00 EST.
Discuss and debate reports on our Discord channel (⁠dyor-contest: https://discord.gg/gaUu2YgEJq) during the submission period.
Voting period is from December 15, 11:00 EST to December 22, 11:00 EST.

Voting Process:

Voting hosted on Summon (https://app.summonplatform.io/).
Use $AUDIT tokens for voting (1 AUDIT = 1 vote). Policy ID: f2fe9aafd2e5b3b00e2949a96d44a84d9f4d818d63945010a466a4ae.
Team members will not vote with team allocation to ensure fairness.

Prizes:

First place: 700 BTN and 30,000 AUDIT Tokens.
Second place: 200 BTN and 10,000 AUDIT Tokens.
Third place: 100 BTN and 5,000 AUDIT Tokens.

In case of ties, prizes will be equally divided.

Additional Notes:

Winners will be contacted for wallet addresses to receive tokens.
Use your Discord handle as the report author for identification and prize distribution.
This contest is an educational initiative and not an endorsement to buy Butane Tokens (BTN) or to use their protocol.
Butane is not compensating us in any way. They are simply providing a prize to encourage research.
BTN tokens won’t be available until after TGE and will be distributed directly by Butane.
