Crypto Community Celebrates as Cardano Hits 2 Million ADA Wallets

The Cardano community has posted a new tweet calling upon all the members to celebrate a new achievement. The self-proclaimed third-generation digital token has reached a new digital wallet address height. According to the new tweet posted by the official Twitter account of Cardano Corporation, the total number of ADA wallets has preceded 2 million users.

This new achievement is a landmark as it was not long ago that the community was celebrating reaching 1 million wallet users. It was in May in the same year when the number of active digital wallet registrations on the ADA blockchain reached 1 million users. This growth streak proves that Cardano is on its way to further progress.

At present, the ADA token native to the Cardano blockchain is trading for $2.03 per unit. It is placed at the 6th position on the global cryptocurrency leaderboard. It means that Cardano is now the sixth-largest digital token in the world by market capitalization. The main winning points for Cardano are that the developers behind the project have been implementing regular updates on this blockchain.

In September, Cardano was able to successfully integrate the Alonzo hardfork upgrade on the network. This upgrade allowed the Cardano network to enable smart contracts capabilities. Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has shared a detailed road map with the investors, and it is worth noting that this blockchain project has yet to experience any successful hack attempt.

Ripple has Started New Project with SAAB Bank

Ripple Labs is still fighting the Securities and Exchange Commission in court over the matter of unregistered securities. However, the company has kept making new business deals and starting new projects. SAAB Bank that is a British-Saudi Bank, has now started a new online payment service that is powered by Ripple Labs.

This new service is a cross-border settlement option that is available for corporate clients. The commercial users who register for this service will be able to send and receive payments in the form of USD and can be performed in a matter of seconds. Ripple executive Brooks Entwistle claims that this new project is going to contribute to creating better commercial relations in the related regions.
