Charles Hoskinson Hints at Cardano’s ADA Spearheading Crazy Altcoin Bull Run

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has outlined an ambitious vision for his blockchain project and the cryptocurrency market. He is predicting a fresh wave of institutional adoption and technological integration that could define the next market cycle.

In an interview with Bloomberg’s Haslinda Amin at Token2025, Hoskinson said the coming phase of growth will hinge less on retail speculation and more on regulatory clarity that encourages large-scale corporate involvement.

The Cardano founder believes the proposed CLARITY Act is a game-changer, arguing that clear oversight will unlock corporate participation and legitimize crypto as a mainstream financial asset. “Once the regulatory fog lifts, you’ll see corporations diversify into Bitcoin at scale,” he said.

Hoskinson also doubled down on his optimism for Bitcoin, projecting that the world’s largest cryptocurrency could climb to around $250,000 by mid-2026. However, he joked that he’s “the worst trader in the world,” emphasizing that his forecast was rooted more in structural shifts than short-term speculation.

Cardano’s vision: privacy, integration, and institutional bridges

Turning to Cardano, Hoskinson outlined an expansive roadmap centered on privacy and regulatory compatibility. He argued that Cardano’s evolving ecosystem, backed by partnerships with firms such as Google Cloud, is positioned to become a core settlement layer for traditional finance.

Hoskinson also noted that Cardano “has been running and never been hacked,” which he believes makes it a trusted “blue chip” in the industry.

A major piece of that strategy is Midnight, Cardano’s upcoming privacy-focused protocol designed to help custodians and exchanges tokenize assets in compliance with regulatory standards. Hoskinson described it as a bridge between Wall Street and decentralized finance, allowing institutions to issue and settle assets securely on-chain.

He placed the timeline for mainstream integration within the next three to five years, contingent on regulatory progress. “The regulation is getting done…everything else is sky is the limit,” he said.
