CardanoKit Brings $ADA to Apple Devices - Cryptocurrency News - Altcoin Buzz

Cardano is making its way into the Apple ecosystem via the Cardanokit, a new open-source library by Tokeo that is set to launch in the coming weeks. 

As per reports, Cardanokit is written in Swift, which means it’s fully native to Apple platforms. That includes iOS, tvOS, and even watchOS. This new development is a big deal for developers building apps for Apple devices.

With CardanoKit, they’ll be able to integrate $ADA directly into their apps, whether it’s for payments, wallets, or other Web3 features. And thanks to Apple Pay integration, users will soon have a much easier way to buy $ADA straight from their iPhones.

What makes this more exciting for Cardano users is that it fits easily into Apple’s existing user experience. It reduces the hurdles users have to go through to access the Cardano blockchain.

CardanoKit brings a plug-and-play experience inside an already familiar app. Once implemented, this could help bring Cardano to millions of new users who’ve never interacted with crypto before.

Big Techs Continue Their Crypto Push

Apple and other tech giants have been slowly opening the door to crypto. Just a few months ago, Apple updated its App Store rules to allow more types of crypto apps. Around the same time, Google began supporting certain blockchain-based games and NFTs on its Play Store.

Cardano’s founder, Charles Hoskinson, even said that Big Tech is preparing for the next chapter of crypto, one where companies like Apple, Google, Amazon, and Tesla play a central role. With regulations becoming clearer, that prediction continues to look real.

The Cardano Foundation recently launched Veridian, an open-source digital identity wallet available on both iOS and Android. It’s designed to give users more control over their identity while keeping privacy a top priority. This is something Apple has long emphasized in its ecosystem.

Now, with CardanoKit bridging the gap between ADA and Apple’s world of devices, the Cardano ecosystem is quietly setting itself up for a major leap in adoption.
