Cardano’s Charles Hoskinson Twitter Account Finally Verified

After tons of requests from various quarters in the crypto community, the Twitter account of the CEO of IOG, Charles Hoskinson, has finally received the much-anticipated blue checkmark.

In order to mitigate the perpetration of scammers and impersonators that have been taking advantage of his personality to defraud unsuspecting members of the crypto community, verification is needed.

It can be recalled that Charles Hoskinson took to Twitter on 16th March to inform the Cardano community that he’s considering leaving the microblogging platform permanently, if it fails to verify his account, citing tons of con artists taking advantage of his personality to defraud crypto newbies.

Charles Hoskinson tweeted, “If there is no path to verification, then I’m considering leaving Twitter. It seems to be the only way to resolve the impersonation issues. I’m disappointed with Twitter they just don’t seem to care about fraud, scams, and impersonation.”

A number of crypto big guns, such as Aleksandra Huk, one of the most popular women in the crypto community, also solicited the much-needed verification on behalf of the creator of Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson.

Aleksandra Huk tweeted, “Can we all agree that Charles Hoskinson @IOHK_Charles should get his account verified? Besides his great achievements, he has many imposters. There are many scams, especially when it comes to crypto. Twitter should protect it’s users, @jack please do something.”

Jack Dorsey Finally Succumbed to Pressure, Got Hoskinson’s Account Verified

After hours of mounting pressure, Twitter got Charles Hoskinson’s account verified before he could think of fulfilling the promise of leaving Twitter permanently.

At the time of writing, many are still clamoring for the blue checkmark without noticing that Jack Dorsey has already done the needful.

Reacting to the new development, Hoskinson appreciated all those who showed their support in making the timely verification possible.

Charles Hoskinson tweeted, “One small but deeply meaningful step today, but a long road ahead for crypto scams. We have a lot of work to do as an industry to combat them. Thanks everyone for the help in bringing visibility to this issue!”

Now that his account has been verified, we shall see if it’s enough to curb the intense of impersonators and scammers around his personality.
