Cardano has been observed getting mainstream adoption in recent months. NOWPayments, a crypto payments gateway solution provider, has recently unveiled a plugin. NOWPayments has announced the launch via Reddit and explained that the plugins would allow WooCommerce and Shopify merchants to get their hands on ADA. Indeed, now the users of Shopify and WooCommerce can easily accept payments in ADA for their store. It is also observed that the payments gateway firm also helps merchants to accept more than fifty coins.

Cryptocurrencies revolutionizing the payments system

Cryptocurrencies as a payments system innovation are taking over the traditional payments system. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic last year, it is observed that cryptos adoption has surged, and the crypto payments option is getting integrated into significant platforms. Such platforms also include Shopify, which is a leading e-commerce solution used by millions of merchants globally.

Recently, one of the popular crypto payments platforms is NOWPayments. Recently the platform has introduced a plugin allowing merchants to accept more than 70+ cryptos. In the list of cryptocurrencies, the platform has also integrated ADA, the native token of Cardano.

In addition to the launch, the firm is planning to partner with global online marketplace Etsy. Hence, the platform has plans to integrate and enable ADA payments on Etsy.
