Cardano (ADA) will Eventually Flip (ETH) in Market Cap

Dan Gambardello shared: I know people think I am crazy, but I think ADA will eventually flip ETH in market cap.

Community Response:  This is not a competition, and I do not want to see Ethereum fail. This is an interesting dynamic between these two blockchains to keep an eye on.

I bought 1000 dollars UFO tokens last December. Had to pay 136 dollars gas fee. Another 35 dollars to give Uniswap permission to look into my metamask wallet. How much would that cost on Cardano?

UFO coming to Kadena which will have negligible gas fees and light years ahead of Cardano in performance stats.

Yep. What is, about 8 or 9 zeros often the decimal for a fee on Kadena? Almost free at that point. If they pull it off, insanely fast for a layer 1. We’ll see how the project turns out.

When we are Gonna get your Sundae Token in our Yoroi wallet as I have stacked my ADA in your wallet thanks.

They will allow claiming all the rewards via drip ropz on March 1st, if you don’t want to claim via dripdropz, they will make another way to claim, but you will need to wait a little more.

Why do people love Ada so much? I tried it and it was far from smooth. Yoroi wallet is slow, there are no Dapps, and the staking reward is small.

I agree. It is just a matter of time and people waking up. ADA right now is where ETH 2.0 wants to be.

Not quite, ADA is getting there but it can barely support like 5 pretty weak (albeit improving) dapps. If Eth2 drops before ADA gets some serious Dapps or Sol gets its security worked out I think it steamrolls everybody. Plus, the ETH layer 2s are becoming monsters in space.

I doubt ETH 2.0 which was scheduled for 2022 and now rescheduled to 2026 will beat Cardano Who already is where eth wants to be. All Ada needs now is hydra for it to work like a charm and in The past few weeks, we have seen a lot of congestion but also a lot of improvement.

What was “promised” is it 2 million transactions per second or something like that? Seriously come on that would be a 2 million % increase of what they do now. Nothing more than a pipe dream doing that amount by this fall. Will be here waiting and watching.

What do you think about the recent FUD around the power multiple pool operators have over transactions on the network? Do you think this is a legit concern? Is there something that can be done to refocus on decentralization? Or do you feel this problem is overstated? Cardano.

I think we should be grateful that the Cardano community is having this debate and that it’s an issue rather than worry about the fact it’s happening. It will result in changes that improve decentralization in the long run so it’s all good.

I think that’s a fair point as long as we have the debate and hear everyone’s concerns or lack of concern. Some may feel it’s overstated and I’d love to hear why if that’s the case. Debate is key to growth in this space.

I only think it’s crazy you haven’t said a word about Sundaeswap abandoning some of its earliest community, the cswap holders. Given the lawsuit, they have been served by CardStarter. Help us get them to honor the deal. Time to help real people in the middle.

I don’t think you’re crazy, I think it will happen. But we need to embrace some big names to build on Cardano too. That’s our role as a community.

Bringing developers to Cardano’s blockchain is synonymous with its growth.

Absolutely but there is also a sleeping giant that soon will wake up within Cardano. Marlowe has the potential to be a game-changer for mass adoption in Cardano. It’s just brilliant.

Ethereum platform needs SHARDING, not necessarily the PoS, as their 2.0 development. That is much overlooked and the only thing going to save ETH in the long term.

Algorand is a great project but their incentives aren’t as good. There is a huge difference, as far as security is concerned, in developing software in a functional programming language like Haskell.

I like Cardano but Algorand has a better chance to do that before Cardano. Last I heard Cardano was congested as hell. And more developers know Python, Java, etc. than Haskell.
