Cardano ($ADA) Founder Claims He’s the Sole Advocate Against the Healthcare Monopoly in America
Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Defends His New Healthcare Clinic Against Criticism, Emphasizes Its Independence from Monopolies and Highlights His Brother's Expertise as Chief Medical Officer. Read This Full Report
Charles Hoskinson replied to a critic and explained why his limited expertise in the healthcare sector is still a significant benefit for humanity in America.
Charles Hoskinson is the founder of the Cardano (ADA) blockchain. After leaving the Ethereum blockchain project in 2013, he worked on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus-based programming language called Plutus to develop and launch the Cardano blockchain in 2017. In 2023, Hoskinson established a fully independent healthcare clinic named “Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic” in WY, USA. That clinic also accepts $ADA cryptocurrency as payment from patients, which is optional.
On 7 Sep 2024, Hoskinson announced the addition of a highly experienced doctor to his clinic.
A crypto X (formerly Twitter) user indirectly criticized Hoskinson for running a clinic despite having no expertise in this field.
In response, Hoskinson explained that the current state of healthcare infrastructure for low-budget populations in the USA is inadequate and unaffordable. His clinic is independent of these monopolies and aims to help people.
In a follow-up tweet, Hoskinson mentioned that the clinic’s Chief Medical Officer is his brother, who is a board-certified internist and highly knowledgeable in the medical field.
$ADA Price Action
