The Cardano Universe is expanding. Cardano Alonzo Testnet is now live. The community members are like: It all begins now!
Input-Output recently expressed: “We are delighted to report we have successfully spun up the first testnet in our Alonzo rollout. AlonzoBlue is our early alpha network, providing core Alonzo-node networking capability.”
They have now started the process of onboarding a small, select group of SPOs & Plutus Pioneers to help lay the foundations. The 90 days and more on Alonzo White and Alonzo Purple is set to be eventful.
Plutus Smart Contracts is now coming to Cardano. With Alanzo, the developers have been incredibly open about the entire process. The transparency is set at 100% with the smart contract main event. The entire testing process is all set to actually bring into the journey the pioneers, partners, SPOs, and eventually the community. This has been done through multiple phases.
The team recently spoke about what is there in each of these phases. The functionality is available in each of those phases, who is going to be able to start working with it, and what they are looking for as a team for a successful phase transition to go to the next phase. This lasts over 3 phases; it is kind of a 90-day thing.

Charles Hoskinson lost his cool recently when many of them were trolling in the context of smart contracts.
He expressed: “So, now that smart contracts are on the horizon, what do you think the next insult is going to be from the trolls? We’ve had just a wallet and ghost chain. What do you guys think? Should I hold a contest for best trolling?”
The community deserves a reaction from the project leader to all those who trolled Cardano on the grounds of smart contracts. On hearing the news about the smart contract, some users were like: “Did this news bring a tear to anyone else’s eye?”

Still: Who knows, crypto had more of a cult following than people who actually look to the future. Half of them will sell the bottom and be back at the top.
