Bynet Wallet released on the mainnet!
After months of hard work, we are proud to announce that the first version of Bynet Wallet is live on the mainnet! We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone from the Cardano community that gave feedback, suggestions and overall took part in beta testing.
After months of hard work, we are proud to announce that the first version of Bynet Wallet is live on the mainnet! We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone from the Cardano community that gave feedback, suggestions and overall took part in beta testing. This was an essential stage for the team as we hope Bynet Wallet will serve the community to its fullest. Although the roadmap of Bynet Wallet is still long with a staking centre, fiat on- and off-ramp, or investment tab, ambitious functionalities are coming along! We hope to get the initial traction from the fundamental capabilities of the wallet and see plenty of feedback from the Cardano FAM.
Bynet Wallet in the first version is launched with a set of functionalities that should allow users to test the usability of transfers, creating, restoring, or deleting wallets, and managing crypto portfolios. Plans for the next iteration include working on a graphical representation of the crypto portfolio, security when entering the app, improvements in the area of seed phrases, such as phrase autocomplete or validation, and UI/UX enhancements. With each new version, we aim to bring recent advancements that fit our vision and consider what you, the community, hope to see. Soon we will share some “behind the scenes” with our CTO, Bartłomiej Rusiniak, as he will explain the process of developing such a DApp.
Things to keep in mind when downloading Bynet Wallet:
- Bynet Wallet is non-custodial, meaning that it doesn’t store your keys. If you lose them, Byron Network cannot retrieve them or help you get access to the wallet.
- If you participated in the beta testing, delete the testing version from your mobile device.
- Password and biometrics are turned on when signing a transaction and not when entering an app, although these functions will be added in the next version.
