Today, May 25th, 2023 we launch the Gero Media Player for Android, iOS, and chrome browser. You can enjoy your NFTs directly in your wallet with the device you prefer without navigating anywhere else!

You asked, we listened. The team saw numerous requests for a true NFT media player. What we learned from the community is that the current options for enjoying media are less than preferred. We decided it’s time to step things up for the music community and build the Gero Media Player. The Cardano music scene is growing and music NFTs are becoming more popular. It has become necessary for there to be an adequate and user friendly method for digesting art and media. We believe this is one piece of the puzzle for supporting artists on Cardano and pushing towards making Cardano the go to place for music NFTs.

Today, you can enjoy your audio NFTs. Moving forward we plan to continue adding functionality such as full support for video NFTs, and audio books. Additionally we plan to add features such as playlist creation, library management, and more. The goal is to allow you to enjoy and any NFT’s you own directly in the wallet.

Premium Feature

The Gero Media Player is the first premium feature to be launched on the Gero platform. To access premium features on the platform one of two conditions can be met.

1. Stake to the GERO stake pool (minimum of 250 ADA)

Free Trial

A free trial is offered to anyone interested in trying out the feature. The trial is 72 hours. After 72 hours you will be asked to fulfill one of the requirements to continue using the premium feature.
