‘We have the best Community’: Cardano Founder

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano (ADA) and Chief of the network’s development firm Input Output Global (IOG), has hit back at individuals criticizing the network.

In a post on his Twitter page, he said that “they are holding all the cards” with the ecosystem riding itself with the “best community.”

Crypto analyst Ben Armstrong recently criticized Cardano, dubbing it “dead,” a statement that sparked debate within the community. However, it’s worth noting that Armstrong had previously discarded his ADA-staked pool. In response, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, stepped in to defend the project, highlighting its robust ecosystem, scalability, governance structure, and ongoing innovation.

Despite the criticism, Cardano is pressing forward with its plans for growth and development. The project has scheduled the launch of the Plutus V3 development tool and the Chang hard fork for the first quarter of this year. These initiatives aim to redefine Cardano’s trajectory and strive to achieve complete community governance, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

Furthermore, the upcoming Chang Hardfork signifies the dawn of the Voltaire era and aligns with Cardano’s ambitious roadmap outlined in the CIP-1694 proposal for 2024. Additionally, the Plutus V3 upgrade is expected to drive demand for ADA. It introduces advanced primitives and tools for creating smart contracts, enhancing the performance of the Proof-of-Stake network.

ADA support for Zero-Knowledge proofs (ZKP) further underscores its commitment to privacy and interoperability with partner chains like Midnight. With Plutus V3 undergoing testing on SanchoNet in February, the community looks forward to unlocking more ecosystem potential.
