Voteaire Development Updates — Jan 13, 2022
After the holiday break, we’re happy to share with you the first issue of the Voteaire development updates in 2023.
Our development team continues to be focused on the Voteaire Escrow Smart Contract upgrade, while still addressing minor bug fixes as well as adding some new features to the platform to make it serve the community even better.
Features
- Mobile has been tested using Flint Wallet — give it a try!
- Continued work on Eternl DApp store integration
Bugfixes and UX Improvements
- General QA fixes throughout the application
- Migrated transaction building functionality from CSL to Lucid — this should reduce errors arising from transaction building
Escrow Smart Contract
- Development is well underway on the on-chain portion of the oracle component that will write voting results on chain
- Development has begun on the off-chain components
As before, the plan for the upcoming weeks will be largely focused on the Escrow Smart Contract project. We anticipate completing Milestone 2, which pertains to the Implementation of Smart Contract Readable Ballot Results, before the end of the month.
