Snoop Dogg to Open Bored Ape NFT-Themed Dessert Restaurant

Snoop Dogg and Food Fighters universe – a startup co-founded by Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo, and Philip Huynh – announced plans to open Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Discovery, a similar “role-playing retail dessert experience” that will take root in Los Angeles.

The Bored&Hungry fast food store was the first one inspired by the Bored Ape NFT Yacht Club that opened in Los Angeles earlier this year. The team behind it has invited Snoop Dogg to open their next NFT-themed Restaurant.

Dr. Bombay is the name Snoop gave to his Bored Ape NFT avatar. The Bored Ape Yacht Club is well known in the NFT market and now includes 10,000 unique NFTs. The collection’s trading volume has reached more than $2.1 billion.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club project was founded by four founders from Yuga Labs, Gargamel, Gordon Goner, Emperor Tomato Ketchup, and No Sass. Since their first casting, BAYC has created new NFT lines, upgraded the NFTs, and made an exclusive club for BAYC owners.

Bored&Hungry Restaurant uses this collection to promote the brand. The NFT collection inspires the decorations in the store.

Snoop Dogg has deepened his understanding of NFTs. In addition to owning the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection, he also collaborates with projects such as The Sandbox on Ethereum and Clay Nation on Cardano. The Rapper also claimed to be behind Cozomo de’ Medici, a character nicknamed Crypto Twitter and a multimillion-dollar NFT collector whose values include CryptoPunks, Art Blocks, and XCOPY.
