Ripple’s stablecoin is coming on the Cardano network, Hoskinson confirmed!

Charles Hoskinson indirectly confirmed that Ripple’s stablecoin $RLUSD will be available on the Cardano blockchain network in the near future.

Cardano is a popular Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain network. At this blockchain network, many decentralised crypto trading exchanges (Defi) also run, but in the absence of popular stablecoin support in the Cardano ecosystem, crypto investors do not prefer using Cardano-based Defi protocols.

On 12 Jan 2024, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson responded to a tweet posted by Cardano blockchain-focused Defi platform TabTools.
The TabTools team asked whether Circle ($USDC) demands $3 million to mint USDC stablecoin on the Cardano network. Hoskinson responded & said more than what we were thinking.

The Cardano founder indirectly said that the high cost to give in the form of security is the main reason why USDC is not available on the Cardano network.

In response to another tweet, an X user asked Hoskinson to consider adding support for Ripple’s newly launched stablecoin $RLUSD. Hoskinson indirectly said yes for $RLUSD.
Hoskinson said that Ripple’s leadership is much better & also they’re cooperative enough, so it will be better to see $RLUSD on Cardano.

Earlier in Dec 2024, Cardano’s founder confirmed that he was working on bringing $RLUSD to the Cardano blockchain network.

On Reddit, some crypto enthusiasts talk about the possibility of support for $RLUSD stablecoin on the Cardano blockchain network.
