Monero (XMR) And XRP (XRP) Left Reeling as TMS Network (TMSN) Continues its Meteoric Rise With Whopping Million Dollar Investments
Monero (XMR) and XRP (XRP) are two of the longest standing crypto assets on the market, but they are shining a little less bright these days due to the astounding success of TMS Network’s (TMSN) token presale, which is only in its second phase and has already raised more than $4.0 million.

Monero (XMR) and XRP (XRP) are two of the longest standing crypto assets on the market, but they are shining a little less bright these days due to the astounding success of TMS Network’s (TMSN) token presale, which is only in its second phase and has already raised more than $4.0 million. As the year goes on, it’s looking more and more like TMS Network (TMSN) will be the darling of the 2023 crypto market.
TMS Network (TMSN)
TMS Network (TMSN) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Ethereum (ETH) network that intends to offer a number of unique features that aren’t found with some of the other DEXs already on the market. Most notably, TMS Network (TMSN) provides its users with access to a wide variety of asset classes and is not limited to the crypto market. This functionality of TMS Network (TMSN) is enabled through the use of derivatives trading.
Compared to traditional, centralized exchanges, TMS Network (TMSN) offers a much greater level of transparency in terms of what’s going on behind the scenes. This is because there is no such thing as “behind the scenes,” as all of the functions of TMS Network (TMSN) are published as smart contracts on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain. This can help build a large amount of trust and confidence in the platform among potential users.
In terms of the TMS Network (TMSN) specifically, it should be noted that holders are able to share in the profits of the exchange through what effectively amount to the same sort of dividends payments that are seen with traditional stocks.
Monero (XMR)
Justin Ehrenhofer, a contributor to privacy-focused cryptocurrency Monero (XMR), argues that privacy-preserving Monero (XMR) payments should not be considered a niche or a luxury but a necessity and a right for everyone.
According to Ehrenhofer, the privacy enabled by Monero (XMR) is essential for human dignity, freedom and democracy. He believes that Monero (XMR) offers a solution that enables users to send and receive payments without exposing their identities, balances or transaction histories.
However, Ehrenhofer acknowledges that Monero (XMR) also faces some hurdles and trade-offs. He mentions that Monero’s (XMR) focus on privacy could weaken adoption in some jurisdictions and can limit scalability.
XRP (XRP)
The SEC and Ripple Labs are locked in a legal battle over whether XRP (XRP), the cryptocurrency created by Ripple, is a security or not. The SEC claims that Ripple violated securities laws by selling XRP (XRP) to investors without registering it as a security. Ripple argues that it did not receive fair notice from the SEC that XRP (XRP) could be considered a security, and that XRP (XRP) is a digital asset that functions as a medium of exchange.
Recently, the SEC filed a supporting letter to the court, citing a separate case where it won against a broker dealer named Commonwealth Equity Services. In that case, the SEC accused Commonwealth of failing to disclose conflicts of interest to its clients, and Commonwealth tried to use the fair notice defense to avoid liability. The court rejected Commonwealth's defense.
The SEC claims that this case weakens XRP’s (XRP) core argument, because it shows that the fair notice defense is not applicable to securities violations. XRP (XRP) has not yet responded to the SEC's letter, but it is expected to challenge the SEC's interpretation of the Commonwealth case and the Howey test.
It’s clear that Monero (XMR) and XRP (XRP) both have potential legal issues to deal with, albeit for different reasons. For this reason, TMS Network (TMSN) may be a safer bet for the foreseeable future.
