Maestro and Drasil join forces

Creating a powerhouse to fund, build and scale dApps on Cardano

Maestro is the top provider of ISPO (Initial Stake Pool Offering) services on Cardano. One of Maestro’s first products provides “ISPO-as-a-Service” i.e. setting up and running the infrastructure for projects to be able to reliably and securely set up ISPOs, retaining full ownership without having to deal with any of the complexities. ISPOs have revolutionized project-funding by leveraging Cardano’s unique architecture, allowing ADA holders to support projects of their choice while maintaining full custody. They do this by simply delegating to the appropriate stake pools, earning project tokens as rewards (in lieu of ADA) in return.

Drasil is a project that has been quietly focused on building powerful tools aimed at making the development of Cardano dApps much easier. In their paper, they describe a suite of services which include both low-level tooling (which more advanced users can utilize to power-up their applications) as well as higher-level complete blockchain applications which cover common use cases such as “NFT minting” or “Token Reward and Distribution”. Their powerful “Drasil-Core’’ engine underpins all of this, abstracting away the complications and peculiarities of the blockchain while taking full advantage of its unique features. The services already power projects such as SmartClaimz, which provides an elegant and simple solution for users to claim their rewards on Cardano.

The co-founders form a formidable team: Marvin and Varderes from Maestro v1 have extensive software engineering and business experience working with companies such as Freenome and in roles working with Genius Yield. Torben and Zak from Drasil together bring years of experience in industrial and blockchain engineering, business and technology consultation and education. The newly formed company Maestro-Drasil has decided to continue using the “Maestro” brand, but a re-branding is underway which will include a new website to reflect the new ambition and scope, as well as more announcements down the line as new tools and services come online, alongside community services such as the highly anticipated “ISPO Marketplace”.
