gCOTI Second Vote Results — The New APY Boost: 1600%!
Last week, we shared the first vote results in which the majority of you chose to increase the APY boost.
Last week, we shared the first vote results in which the majority of you chose to increase the APY boost. The second gCOTI vote, in which you had the opportunity to decide by how much, concluded earlier today, and you have decided on a new APY boost of 1600%!
A snapshot was taken today at 12:05pm UTC, capturing the gCOTI balances of all voters, including their addresses and Treasury deposits. The total gCOTI in the snapshot amounted to 20,961,773.39 gCOTI, with the distribution as follows:
- Increase APY Boost to 1,000%: 27.5% representing a snapshot of 5,755,638.77 gCOTI
- Increase APY Boost to 1,200%: 3.9% representing a snapshot of 821,316.04 gCOTI
- Increase APY Boost to 1,400%: 1.2% representing a snapshot of 261,089.51 gCOTI
- Increase APY Boost to 1,600%: 67.4% representing a snapshot of 14,123,729.07 gCOTI
With 14,123,729.07 gCOTI, the option with the most voting power was an increase to an APY Boost of 1600%. This new rate will take effect as of next week. We will inform you of the exact timing in the next few days. Please note that the APY boost is subject to change in the future.
