Moreover, another significant event, “SCATDAO + Cardano All-Stars educate Kutztown University,” witnessed SCAT DAO and major contributors from Cardano enlightening students about various roles and job opportunities within the blockchain ecosystem. The conference, themed “Interdisciplinary Computing,” aims to provide a platform for faculty and students from PA State System Universities to present research, exchange techniques, and collaborate with peers.

However, the conference has encountered hurdles, notably being adversely affected by the pandemics and other challenges, and is currently seeking financial support to ensure its successful execution. A call for donations of $250 each from 10 industrial entities has been made to restore PACISE, with any surplus funds planned to be utilized for student organization support and student travel for presentations.

Recognizing the potential impact of this conference and aligning with its ethos of supporting educational initiatives, SCAT DAO is contemplating converting $250 worth of ADA from its community funds to contribute to this noble cause. With a current availability of 10,606 ADA, the DAO is not only looking to provide financial support but also to gain valuable exposure and publicity, while simultaneously generating new interest in its ongoing and future initiatives.

In the spirit of decentralized decision-making, a poll will be opened on Summon, allowing SCAT DAO token holders to cast their vote on whether to proceed with this proposed financial support. This democratic approach ensures that the community, as a collective, has a say in the direction and initiatives undertaken by the DAO.
