The Dogecoin Foundation has revealed a new roadmap via the official Twitter handle, citing eight new projects for the meme token, a strong response to the Shiba Inu team, which has increasingly supported its growth with real-world projects like the Shiba Inu NFT game and Shibarium Layer 2 solution.
Dogecoin roadmap
The Dogecoin roadmap is the first roadmap from the Dogecoin Foundation, which is the volunteer organization behind the development of the meme token, which has seen a marvelous run in 2021. The “trail map” that the Foundation has revealed includes a total of 8 new ventures for the meme token, including LibDogecoin and GigaWallet.

“The Manifesto was our attempt at capturing everything the community wanted from the Dogecoin project: a ‘Currency of the people, for the people and by the people, something humanity could really use, to buy a coffee or pay the rent,” said Dogecoin Foundation.
This is in line with Elon Musk’s comment on accepting Dogecoin for payments by Tesla because it is much suited for the same than Bitcoin, the world’s biggest cryptocurrency.
Shiba Inu: The most popular token
As per a recent tweet from CoinMarketCap, the most popular cryptocurrency on the platform is Shiba Inu, which is far ahead of Bitcoin and its major rival, Dogecoin.

As per CoinMarketCap, the Shiba Inu token has gathered nearly ‘188 million views within the last 12 months, about 43 million more than Bitcoin’s 145 million views this year.’ Dogecoin was number third in the list, followed by Cardano and Ethereum.
On the other hand, the Shiba Inu volunteer lead, Shytoshi Kusama, has been actively involved in the development of the Shiba Inu NFT game and the release of the SHI stablecoin, which will soon arrive after the release of the game.
While Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, the ‘DOGE killer,’ have booth seen huge growth this year, one can only imagine how this war will end.
