I’m coming from the Ethereum eco system and while solidity has its shortcomings, it’s relatively easy to wrap your head around it and start creating things.
I’ve only spent a few hours messing around with this but it was surprisingly hard.
The bar to entry for Cardano development seems crazy high at the moment. You have to learn Haskell, and the APIs and everything else seems incredibly complex compared to Ethereum.
Are simplified APIs and tools coming or are developers just expected to invest the significant amount of time required to get settled into the Cardano eco system? If so, why would anyone bother when there are easier and more mature systems out there?
