Crypto Price Update July 15: Bitcoin Soars Above $63K, ETH at $3,300, BNB, SOL, and DOGE Surges

The crypto market has regained its confidence, beginning the new week on a positive note. Today, the global market is experiencing a healthy rally which kicked off over the weekend. According to fresh data, the total crypto market value has grown by a notable 4.32% in the last 24 hours. Consequently, its market cap now rests at $2.3 trillion. Compared to Friday’s $2.16 trillion, today’s figure represents a $140 billion increase.

The total trading volume over the last day has also surged by 16% to $59.49 billion. Notably, the volume of stablecoins represents about 90% of the entire trading volume. The crypto fear and greed index, a metric used to measure investors’ confidence in the market, has reached 52 points, signifying ‘neutral.’ This marks a major shift from yesterday’s 33 ‘fear’ point. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by trade volume has soared over the last day. According to CoinMarketCap data, the price of BTC has grown by 4.90% to trade at $63,102. Its 24-hour trading volume has also spiked by 20% to $26.3 billion. Interestingly, Bitcoin maintains a 53.71% dominance in the market despite the significant altcoin rally.

Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has been gathering momentum ahead of the expected ETF launch. The price of ETH has crossed the $3,300 mark, jumping by 4.20% to trade at $3,351. Moreover, ETH trading volume over the last day has spiked by 27.15% to $12.7 billion.

The price of Binance Coin (BNB) has pumped 3.61% in the last 24 hours, changing hands at $558.98. Similarly, its trading volume witnessed a 7% increase to $1.6 billion with a live market cap of $82.3 billion. Notably, BNB has traded between the lows and highs of $532 and $563 respectively.

Solana (SOL) has recorded the most gains among the top 10 cryptocurrencies. Per CMC data, the price of SOL has seen a 5.02% increase to $152.28. Its 24-hour trading volume has also surged by 30% to $2.1 billion. SOL has moved between the range of $143 and $154.

While other top cryptocurrencies are enjoying upticks, the Ripple-backed XRP has taken a different route, dropping marginally over the last day. However, its price has managed to cross the coveted $0.5 mark with a 0.49% decline in one day. At press time, XRP is changing hands at $0.5338.

Other altcoins like Toncoin (TON) have seen a 1.64% gain, trading at $7.49 with a 24-hour trading volume of $196.7 million. Cardano (ADA) on the other hand has dropped by 0.08% to $0.4378.

Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), the two largest memecoins, have climbed 3.77% and 2.9%, now trading at $0.118 and $0.00001799 respectively.

XODEX, the native coin of the Omni-Chain Decentralised Futures Exchange, has grown by 26.53% to $0.0006919 with a 24-hour trading volume of $3.8 million, representing a 61% increase.

Popcat SOL (POPCAT), A BONK-inspired memecoin, has jumped by 22.9% to trade at $0.7175. Additionally, its one-day trading volume soared by 67.5% to $130.2 million.
