Cardano’s Charles Hoskinson Wasn’t Consulted On ADA’s Reserve Inclusion

• Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has made a shocking revelation that he was unaware of the inclusion of ADA in the proposed US Crypto  Reserve until the announcement.
• Hoskinson also said he was not invited to the White House Crypto Summit happening on Friday.

Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson made a surprising disclosure that he had no prior notice of ADA’s inclusion in the proposed US Strategic Crypto Reserve. This came a few days after President Donald Trump approved the creation of a reserve comprising five major assets, including ADA, Cardano’s internal cryptocurrency.

He also confirmed that he was not invited to the White House Crypto Summit, where the President would address the industry’s great minds.

ADA’s Reserve Inclusion Caught Founder Off-Guard

According to Hoskinson, he was left in the dark about ADA’s Reserve inclusion until the announcement went viral on social media, and people started pouring in their congratulations.

“We knew nothing of ADA being selected for the Reserve; it was news to me. I woke up on Sunday, and I had over 150 messages saying congratulations and great job. I had no idea what the heck was going on,” said Hoskinson.

While the ADA inclusion took Hoskinson and his team by surprise, the Cardano Chief said they had “tried so hard” in the past to hold such conversations with the executive, but were snubbed with “we will call you back” responses — hence, his advocacy for legislative handling of such matters, considering how busy the executive is.

Hoskinson Was Not Invited For the White House Crypto Summit

As certain crypto big names prepare for Friday’s Crypto Summit, Hoskinson shocks virtually the entire industry with another jaw-dropping revelation that the White House sent him no invitation for the high-profile event, especially after listing ADA as a key Crypto Reserve asset for the US.

“We were told there will be a list that comes out on Monday,” he said. We did not get an invitation on Monday…I am going to operate under the assumption I have not been invited to go to this gathering,” Hoskinson said.

As of Wednesday, Hoskinson still had not received any invitation for the event. Meanwhile, Fox’s Eleanor Terrett has confirmed 14 industry invitees for the Summit, including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Gemini’s Winklevoss Twins, and MicroStrategy Founder Michael Saylor.

Besides these invitees, the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets headed by AI and Crypto David Sacks will be fully represented at the event. There is yet no mention of an invitation to Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse or any direct executives from Solana Labs and Ethereum, which points to a possible last-minute invite of more crypto folks.
