Cardano Partners with Petrobras for Blockchain Education | The Crypto Times

The Cardano Foundation has announced a partnership with Petrobras, Brazil’s state-owned energy giant, to introduce blockchain education to its 40,000 employees.

The collaboration involves blockchain workshops using Cardano Academy content, tailored by Petrobras for its training programs. Participants will explore blockchain’s potential, applications, and global regulatory aspects through interactive quizzes. 

The first 500 attendees will receive a blockchain training certificate and a unique NFT, evolving with their course progress. 

Cardano Foundation CEO Frederik Gregaard emphasized the importance of education in their mission, stating, “Empowerment through education is a central part of our mission at the Cardano Foundation. That goal includes working across all stakeholders in society to achieve blockchain literacy, from individuals to enterprise.” 

Petrobras sees the partnership as a crucial step in leveraging blockchain for innovative energy sector applications, stating, “This bold new partnership with the Cardano Foundation represents an important step forward in our mission to harness the power of blockchain for new use cases within the energy sector. 

The initiative aligns with the Cardano Foundation’s mission of empowering through education and fostering blockchain exploration.
