Three candidates were chosen to have seats on the Interim Constitutional Committee alongside the three founding entities of the Cardano blockchain: Input Output Global, Emurgo, and the Cardano Foundation. The winning candidates of the election were the Cardano Atlantic Council, Cardano Japan, and the Eastern Cardano Council. The Cardano Atlantic Council received 232,162,950 ADA votes, Cardano Japan received 84,639,727 ADA votes, and the Eastern Cardano Council received 46,481,326 ADA votes. Additionally, three alternative candidates were selected based on the highest vote counts following the elected candidates.
