The creation of the Cardano was inspired by Gerolamo Cardano, an Italian polymath, and it was launched in 2017. Over time, it has witnessed substantial progress. On September 2, 2021, ADA reached its peak value of $3.0992. Nevertheless, following this milestone, Cardano has experienced a decline of 89.83%, resulting in losses for investors who joined the ADA ecosystem during that specific timeframe.
Despite the price performance, Cardano has been at the forefront in terms of development. In one of the recent Twitter conversations, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson shared an interesting update on the implementation of rollups.
A Twitter user recently brought attention to the fact that the Cardano founder has mentioned rollups or a rollup strategy twice in YouTube videos this year. The user further inquired about the specific project to which he was referring.

In an AMA held in April, Hoskinson hinted at the potential release of ZK-rollups on ADA, mentioning that there is an intriguing and well-thought-out plan in the works. As a response to the tweet, Hoskinson stated that the sidechains project requires it. He also added that the team is implementing it on a very aggressive schedule. Additionally, Hoskinson also mentioned that midnight will be the first user.
