Rumors that Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson filed a cease and desist against a token called “$ADA” on PulseChain have been rightfully debunked.
PulseChain, a layer 1 blockchain network created by HEX founder Richard Heart, has a decentralized token called “$ADA” on its network.
PulseChain users have accused Hoskinson of spying on the PulseChain Telegram channel to issue a cease and desist for “improperly utilizing” the ticker “$ADA”.
Cardano founder debunks PulseChain lawsuit allegations
PulseChain users on Crypto Twitter responded to a cease and desist letter that apparently came from Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.

Hoskinson has since tweeted that the letter is completely fake and that the PulseChain community has been harassing him.
From Charles Hoskinson:
This is a complete lie. I have not retained a lawyer. I’m not in the Pulsechain chat. I have nothing to do with any of this, but their community continues to defame and harass, and now has launched a P&D memecoin using my name and likeness to make a profit. It’s just disgusting, and anyone considering Pulse as an ecosystem can use this as a data point for how they act.
A screenshot of a letter posted by “@ImShillGates” wrongfully suggested that Hoskinson asked for a token called “$ADA” on PulseChain to be removed or else there would be legal consequences.
The letter, which had been falsely attributed to Hoskinson, suggested that the ADA founder was displeased with Cardano’s ticker being on PulseChain, referencing the Cardano network’s native token which has recently received an ETF filing by Greyscale Investments.
Charles Hoskinson has said “It’s just disgusting”:
anyone considering Pulse as an ecosystem can use this as a data point for how they act.
Hoskinson vs PulseChain
Charles Hoskinson has expressed displeasure with the HEX community and PulseChain in the past on Twitter/X and during one of his many livestreams.
Hoskinson has told the Cardano community that PulseChain users have attacked Hoskinson for his views on Richard Heart and HEX.
Richard Heart was charged by the SEC for fraud and misuse of $12 million from funds raised from HEX and its related entities.
misappropriating at least $12 million of offering proceeds to purchase luxury goods including sports cars, watches, and a 555-carat black diamond known as ‘The Enigma’ – reportedly the largest black diamond in the world.
Unfortunately, with Hoskinson bringing attention to the false letter on Crypto Twitter, Pulsechain’s “pump and dump” $ADA token may receive newfound attention.
