From data from on chain analysis platform Santiment shows that the development activities of Cardano (ADA) are very high. Cardano is even at the top of the list of crypto projects with the most activities.
Cardano development continues in July
Santiment recently shared the data on Twitter in a clear list. This lists projects based on the number of Github commit, also contribute in Dutch. In addition, Santiment is looking at some other aspects within Github.
Github is a platform where developers can program software together. By, among other things, looking at how many contributions developers make here, one can estimate how active the developer community of a particular project is.
And as mentioned, Cardano stands out here. It is at the top and leaves projects such as Polkadot (DOT), its test platform Kusama (KSM) and Ethereum (ETH) relatively far behind.

Cardano prepares for Vasil
It is perhaps not surprising that the development is so high at Cardano. Besides the fact that the project is still largely under development anyway, a major update is expected soon. The Vasil hard fork update should bring a lot of improvements to the network and thus increase efficiency and reduce transaction costs, among other things.
In June, Input Output, the lead developer behind Cardano, announced that Vasil will be delayed. There would be some minor bugs in the code that need to be ironed out first.
The update was then launched on the testnet in early July. So far this seems to have been successful. The launch of Vasil on the mainnet may take several weeks. As soon as this is known, it will of course appear in the cardano news on Crypto Insiders!
